After Xiaomi launched their beastly Redmi Note 4 last year, they are up again to wrap it up with a quick successor, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X which is an upgrade to its predecessor.
The launch has been scheduled for Febuary 14th according to a post on Weibo (China’s twitter-like website) and has been translated to:
“Not Liu Shi, Not Wu Xiubo, not Liu Haoran, an utterly unexpected idol you will be in the February 14 to bring a unique Valentine’s Day gift: red rice Note4X #! Do you guess who Ta is it? Forwarding pumping a new Taiwan. In this case”
According to the post on Weibo, Xiaomi will be hosting an event in China on Valentine’s Day (February 14), where it is widely expected to launch the Redmi Note 4X
The new and forthcoming Redmi Note 4X is a 5.5-inch full HD display device expected to feature variants 2GB, 3GB, and 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage powered by Mediatek Helio X20 chipset and there is a possibility of having a Snapdragon 653 variant too.
Camerawise, this device has a 5MP front shooter for taking selfies and 13MP on the rear. It will also support 4G LTE and fingerprint sensor. The device will be powered with a large 4,100mAh battery capacity. The smartphone could be running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based MIUI 8.1.
