Nobody can forget the old daddy, Nokia 3310. The phone was everybody’s favorite because of its sturdiness, durability and long lasting battery.
17 years after its debut, 125 Million was sold until it was phased out in 2005.
Nokia, under HMD has taken a brilliant move to resurrect the old Nokia 3310 into a new revamped and improved model.
Why The New Nokia 3310 is Awesome
Although the phone is only qualified the be a feature phone not a middle or a high end smartphone. It runs on the S30+ operating systems.
It relies on 2.5G connectivity – which has slower data speeds than 3G or 4G – and it possess a single camera which is restricted to two megapixels.
It has 16MB storage and supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 32GB). It packs a removable 1200mAh.
Don’t get discouraged or disappointed in Nokia already, they’ve got really big plans for this phone.
The phone has a very big advantage over other bigger handsets with its battery life. HMD says the colour-screened phone has up to a month’s standby time and delivers more than 22 hours of talk time.
And also, you remember the old popular snake game on the old Nokia 3310, this new revamped phone has a modern version of the classic game pre-installed.
The announcement was made ahead of the start of the Mobile World Congress tech show in Barcelona. Its launch price is €49,$51; £41.51.
Thenew Nokia 3310 (2017) will be launched in India in Q2 2017, and come in four colour options – Warm Red, Yellow, Dark Blue, and Grey.
